Goodbye Sierra

Hey just wanted to thank everyone here who had helped me through all the questions I had. My Sierra odometer turned 221k the other night. I loved the truck but needed a plow to do my parents driveway who are no longer able to do it themselves. I had priced out plows and got quotes of 4500 installed for the Fisher 8foot HD. I came across a great deal at the dealeship I work at and I pretty much got the plow for nuthing on a newer truck. I know I'll get bashed for doing this, but I included a pic of my new Dodge. Don't laugh yet, I got it for 10k OTD.....05, 2500hd, crew cab, etc

Thanks again for all your help. I hope the guys on the Dodge Forums are as friendly.

No need to bash you stillen.

Thanks for the kind words and for not trying "go out with a bang" with a bunch of anti-GM BS.

I too had a Dodge in the past. You will be back as I was :sigh:

At least it wasn't a Tundra

I agree 100%. There are some great truck deals out there. If this one does what you need it to, I say good luck with it. Good job doing for your folks man.

My first 'ordered' truck was a 1980 Black Dodge 1/2 ton 2WD with 8 foot stepside with oak bed flooring. Black with red interior. Loved the truck.

Hey, a deal is a deal! Good Luck!

Best of luck to you Stillen. I had a 1972 Dodge snow commander that I plowed my parents driveway with. Still on the road today.

10k? How many miles? I'd guess a ton and if not, you got a steal and had I seen it first I'd have traded my Silverado on it. I love my Chevy but a deal is a deal. Congrats and I'm sure the new truck will treat ya great. A buddy of mine has a Dodge 2500 and it's a beast of a truck, really.

Only has 31k on the odometer, This was a trade that came in, and this is what was offered to the customer. He was buying a new vehicle and supposely wasn't even shocked by the low trade in value that was offered to him. i was told he has moeny, and doesn't even flinch when purchasing, must be nice......

..... As an employee at this dealership, we have the option to buy at the offered trade in price to customer....The plow was used only a few times, the tires are at 60% maybe....... I'll let you guys know, but my friends with bow-ties are alreay giving me crap.... It's ok.....

The plow does look good on the front of the truck though. And I agree: at least your truck was not traded in for a F0rD  .
