Looked At New 09 Tahoe

So I was bored this morning and decided to take a trip thru the Local Chevy and GMC Dealers in hopes of seeing an 09 Silverado/Sierra with the Bluetooth and Backup Camera.....basically I am curious as to where they are going to mount the backup camera on the trucks....but anyway I looked at a 09 Tahoe LTZ while I was there and wow.....MSRP was $55,555....when are these going to stop getting any higher?? However I did notice a few differences, in addition to what I remember being discussed on here....of course it had the Chrome Door Moldings, and Chome Rear Bumper Trim, I also saw the Bluetooth Button on the Steering Wheel and Cooled Seats.....but other things I noticed where they now have the speaker in the Center of the Dash, just like the Yukon Denali's....there is no longer a Comp/Temp in the Rearview Mirror Display....I am assuming this went down to the gauge cluster....there are also a new 20" Chrome Clad Wheel....and the other thing that I thought was neat is the Outside Rearview Mirrors have changed....while they still have the Signal in the Mirrors, it looks like there also is the Blind Zone Alert? I though this was a pretty neat feature...but anyway that's all I saw really different, but thought some of the stuff was kind of neat.

Holy cow, if a Tahoe goes for $55k then what does a new Yukon Denali go for? Or for that matter how much is an Escalade?

Just wait 3 years and buy the same one for $14k like I did.

We had an Escalade ESV in earlier in the summer and it stickered for $71k.

We usually just sell the regular Escalade's at around $67k.

$55k... D@mn! I wonder how much it comes down the second you drive it off the lot.

You pretty much got all the differences for the 09 Tahoe, along with the 6 speed transmission. Other than if it's got the 6.2 engine. And yeah, they went up about 10% over the 08's. I'm not really sure what the differences would not be with the Denali.

I don't think the prices are up all that much. I did a build and price online when the 900 Tahoe came out in 06 (as an 07) and I easily optioned one up to $53K and some change and I think I left off a few small options to get to that price.
