well guys i was thinkin about buyin a new truck but i still love the way the 800's look so i'm thinkin about goin for a deal on an 06 i've been lookin at

19.5 ls z71 body lift procomp tires not sure on the type of rim... let me know what you think... i'm thinkin maybe tryin to get about 18 or 18.5 for her since she's already got 45k miles on her... what do u guys think? whats a good price for a truck like this?

Looks like a nice rig. You might have to spend a weekend removing some of the stick on accessories, but it's nice! I don't know if I'd pay over 16K for an 06... even with all of the accessories.

looks nice, I would start at about 17! worst that can happen is they say no and you offer more. I am the type of person if i offered 17 and they jumped on it, i would either wonder whats wrong with the truck or what they would say if i offered 16!

Good looking truck, but I'd look at the front suspension. The truck looks level, which means he either cranked the stock keys, or put on aftermarket keys. The truck looks like it's got a good amount of crank, so look at the CV angles, tie rod angles, and ball joint angles.

Get pictures if you can too.

thanks guys i appreciate all your help! i'm gonna go sit down with them this weekend and see what they'll do... i owe just around what my trucks worth so all i'm looking for is them to give me the right price and i'll walk out a happy man... wont take much either... so we'll see how things go... hopefully a little better than last time...

After looking over that pic... I say lose the ventvisors and the chrome fuel door and drive it! It looks tough with that lift.

took a look at the truck yesterday... very nice dealership... truck is kinda shotty tho... not so impressed in person.. ran across another truck tho that really cought my eye... 2500hd... 6.0 18k miles for 20K.... kinda sparked my interest its a black 4 door... no cheesy stick on accesories...has some aftermarket rims... not to impressed bye... probably take them off and sell them if i bought it... and has the full running boards... not a fan of those either so i'd most likely dump those as well... but other than that... the trucks in immaculate condition.. has one of those sweeet hard roll up covers that rolls up in the front of the bed like a mini bed box... still a brand new truck its an 05... so we will see... i'm gonna try and see what i can get for my truck... i'd transfer the grill guard, cb, and a few other things but heres what the 2500 looks like...

anybody know what kind of gas milage the 6.0 gets? just a ballpark?

note: remembe rthese rims will be history if i buy this truck!

Are you sure thats an 05? Looks like it has the 06-07 classic grill on it....

says its an o5 but i think that they switched the grill out on it i didnt ask too many questions cuz i was kind of in a hurry to get back home but thanks for bringin that up i'll have to see!

are we allowed to do vin checks still?
