even with gas prices on the rise i am still happy to have a truck.

Couldn't be happier.

I've owned my 08 Sierra for almost four months now.

Still can't find a reason to take it in for warranty work.

Everything works perfectly.

For those of you who upgraded from a GMT800 to a GMT900, was it worth the update? Is it head and shoulders better, or just better because its "newer". Anything you miss from the 800? Interested in hearing your opinions.

I used to have a 2006 Silverado and it was a great truck, but IMO my 2007 is a better truck. The interior is way better than my 2006, it is upgraded and looks different than the 2006. Also on my 2007 extended cab the rear windows go down. The V-Max engine is a good upgrade from my 2006 5.3L. In looks I like both trucks. I have owned both GMT-800 and GMT-900 trucks and IMO the GMT-900 trucks are better. One thing that is sucks is the stock tune, but that could be fixed with a tune.

I've had 9 Chevy trucks over the last 20 years and they just keep getting better and nicer.

There are always "little" things they take out that kinda' erks me (Underhood light,side moldings on bedsides,etc.) But then they also add things I love (XM radio,pwr. sliding rr. window,more powerful engines,etc.)

I've been happy with my truck since I got it almost 12 years ago. It has had its quirks like any.
