35x12.5x18???? 4wheelparts told me this, but everytime I do a size calculation, they come out to be 33-34x11.00 or something. Can someone confirm that 305/70/18's are indeed 35x12.50? The info on thier site says its a 35.1, but the calculators are throwing me off. If they sold me a small/narrow ass tire I'm going to be pissed!!

Thanks!!

(((305/25.4)*.70)*2)+18 = 34.8 for me give or take a little for tire over wheel mounting. So the 35.1 sounds about right to me.

305mm / 25.4 mm/in = 12" inner diameter. The outer diameter would be larger which would match with the 12.5"

Sweet!! Thanks guys!!! Just double checking. I don't want them to look small on the truck.

Assuming you're going to lift the truck? 35s won't fit without a lift, will they?

35's won't fit on my stock 99 1500. I don't think they will fit on a stock NNBS, but not 100% sure.

With a sawzall you can make just about anything fit...

And I hate metric tire sizes, never the same across the rim ranges.

The lift should be here early next week. I went with the Fabtech 6". Really lifts 8" so when they guy said it was a big 35, I went with it. Hopefully it will look OK. I wanted to go 37's but I don't want to kill the truck just yet. When its time for tires I will go with a 37.

Yes sir! I was on my way to work and saw a newer ford lifted. It looked great! It finally pushed me to order all of my stuff. I got to work, and before I did any actual work I ordered everything. Now I just have to wait. It should all be here next week. It's getting installed that weekend. Can't wait!!

NOT the wheels I wanted. I wanted the Procomp 7005 series in a 17x9. NO ONE has them in stock and I wasn't about to wait 3-6 months. I also wasnt about to pass up on 4wheelparts.com's buy 3, get one free deal. I went with the 8188 in a 18x9 with extreme M/Ts. Also not my first choice with tires, but the deal was great. I will go with Toyo M/T in a 37x13.50 next time.
