After the four games of the BCS bowl this year, its going to be lucky to be back again. It caught enough crap before the games, but after these four games it'll have to do some talking for itself.

Unfortunately we're stuck with it through 2004 or 2006. They have a contract, and a huge TV contract to go with it. Hopefully it will screw up a few more times between now and then and they'll go with a playoff system.

I say let them use the BCS poll, but take the top 8 teams and have a playoff. The semi-finals and final game could be rotated between the four BCS bowls. That way every body gets their money, and we get a real national champion.
