Ron505 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hello all, I think I've finally found the forum I've been looking for. I've been on a few others, but by the looks of the replies and such, this looks like the place to be. I bought my 2000 Z71 in 2000 with 11k miles. I turned the torsion bars up and added a helper spring, then put 305/70/16's on it. I now have 280k miles on it, and still going strong. As of Monday, I own a 2007 (NBS) Z71 with 14k miles, and today I ordered a Tough country 2" leveling kit with rear helpers, and some bed rail caps. Does anyone know what the biggest tire I can fit on my stock rims (18"x7.5") is? I'm thinking 285/65/18 may be it. But I'd love to go with a 325/65/18. any input would be greatly appreciated.

pennzoil29 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I just noticed that you're from Central Ohio. Are you any where near Deleware, Ohio? I'm being asked to go there and run a job.

DofD Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hey there and welcome to GM Trucks! Nice pair of trucks there. Here is a nice tool for comparing tire and wheel sizes. I think with a leveling kit you can go to a 33" tire without problems. Beyond that you'll need a lift
