Local Deal Won't Perform The Servo Swap?

I went to the local dealer today, not my dealer where the truck is from since that place is a few states to the south, and I explained what the servo swap was and that I wanted to have them do it for me. After being looked at like I was an idiot they said that they steer clear of those types of services. I am mad now, because now I have to find a good tranny shop.

Anyone else have the same issue? Should I go back in and explain it more thoroughly? What should I do now? thanks a lot.

Why don't you want to do it yourself? Sometimes, if you want it done right, you've got to do it yourself. :wtf:

Nick,I know in your in Mo-town,But I know a helluva' good tranny shop/guy in little California,Pa. that would be able to fix ya' up!

No offense, but NEVER expect the dealer to install a modification like that. That way you won't be let down. Its a very easy install. I am sure with a little search, you can find the directions.

It doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't do it, warranty issues and such. I was just seeing what everyone's input on the situation was.

Also, as far as doing it myself. If the saying goes "if you want something done right, then do it yourself" as far as messing with my tranny, though this is a relatively simple install, since I do want it done right, i'll leave it to someone who has done this before haha.

Justin has my shifting perfect! The only thing a servo could improve now would be my WOT 1-2 shift.

I ain't bothering with a servo, it shifts beautifully, nice and quick and firm. :wtf:

yep, at 3/4 throttle mine will snap my head back; both 1-2 and 2-3. At WOT it's a little delayed, but I think it should be.
