Check Out My Gay Rental Car

I am headed to Indy tomorrow to pick up a 2008 Sierra Ext cab. I figured I would rent a car to avoid any issues with breaking down etc. So I went to Enterprise (nice and close) and reserved a FULL SIZE rental.

 

So I looked in the lot early this morning at about 0300 to see what they had sitting there. 1 Malibu and 1 Impala, and the rest were either mini-vans or what I considered mid-size. So I figured no prob, I requested a Charger but you know how that goes.

 

This afternoon I go to pick it up and he shows me this lovely thing:

At least it has Sirius Sat. radio.

 

I popped the hood it really does sound like a sewing maching under there.

 

Good thing my wife is coming with us (buddy is driving the car back to WI). Otherwise we might get hit on when stopping for fuel/food

When I said getting hit on, I was referring to dudes by the way. What a gay car. Wife just came home and said it was the ugliest tin can she has ever seen.

 

Its a means to an end at least.

 

I did rent it for 3 days because it was half price....once we get back from picking up my truck Saturday night it will be dropped off, no desire to keep it

 

I had to gas it up, was at 1/2 tank. The pump clicked off awfully quick.........7.6 gallons to a half tank. I am used to my 95 Caprice, takes forever to fill.

Why have a buddy drive it home? Just throw it into the back of the truck and carry it home. Or if it raining just turn it on its side and slide it into the extended cab.. Congrats on the new truck.

Actually I would take that over this. This thing reminds me of a Vibe. Mine doesn't even have the cool alloys like the one in the picture, just the plastic covers, doh!

 

But it does have a manual shift feature, whats the point Must be for when the v-tec kicks in!

Whatever! The 04 Impala bodystyle is the nicest Impala bodystyle since the dawn of econoboxes. The new one looks just like every other econobox out there.
