General Motors and Segway reinvent personal transportation with PUMA

 

I personally think its a good idea and glad to see the technology in the Segway being put to use by GM. I wouldnt want to meet a suburban on this thing though.

 

What do you guys think?

I think the "PUMA" is a worthless invention! It might be a toy for the rich but I don't think it will make GM much profit. But what do I know

I'd rock one to work...If I could get on the highway with it...And if you know...IT HAD AN ENCLOSED SPACE.

 

That's the biggest drawback for me. We actually have seasons here. Half the time, I'd get to work either soaking wet with rain...Or soaking wet with sweat.

 

But it would be perfect for my little 14 minute commute. As long as it would handle highway speeds anyway.

I heard on the tv lsat night they plan to include storage, cupholders, heat, etc in the production model.

 

I would assume they would weather seal this thing otherwise its no different then a regular segway except you sit down.
