The wife is talking me into having a kid and trying to get knocked up around September October time frame. She drives a mustang now and that would be a pain in the ass and probably not the safest thing in the world to put a new born in. I am leaning more tawards a crew cab Colorado than the Suv's. Just wondering your alls opinion and the pros and cons over one or the other. Thanks guys.

I'd go for an SUV since you already have a pickup. The back seat in the Colorado isn't that great anyways. Growing up we always had an SUV for travel (Suburban, Envoy, and Yukon) and they were all great. It's nice having a place for all your shit and tons of people inside where it won't get wet. What are you guys thinking for an SUV?

How about a new Equinox that gets 31 MPG??

At $51,000 for a new tahoe... I'd consider a TB or something similar for alot less money. Quite frankly I had an 03 lifted extended cab when my kids were small and it was EASY. The seats at a good height for putting them in/getting them out. As they get older, they loved it for the view.. They could see... :D

So... maybe you just keep what you have and use the truck more than the car.

Steven, The wife susgested that too but here was the only down fall to that idea. She wanted my truck and for me to drive her mustang bc she would be with the kid while i was at work. I love my truck probably a little to much to trade it for a ford mustang!

I vote Yuk or Hoe also. Or a fullsize Crew. Not a colorado fan. I think it is just an out date design.

+1

A buddy has a Colorado crew for a company vehicle and it is underpowered and very out dated like Robert said.
