I know EXACTLY how it feels...... I found out yesterday that we're having a boy too (its our first)

Ours is due Nov 5th. Out of all the grandchildren in the family we are the first boy (2 cousins have girls, sister-in-law has a girl).

 

I already started buying some little things (cubs mr potato head guy, cubs slippers, cubs bib, etc).

haha wow, the doc gave us plus/minus 2 days.

 

I am saying if (not looking good) the cubs make it to the world series my luck is it will be game 7, I will have tix and she will go into labor.

That would be quite the predicament..... and im sure you'll be counting the days until you can give your son a hard time for making dad miss game 7 (especially if he is a baseball fan)
