You do realize you have a fuel gauge, right?

On long trips the air pressure monitor give me a little piece of mind, though overall I do like the fuel range info and yes I do know that I have a gas gauge I had to order it with the WT package though...lol, I guess I could say that I enjoy the whole thing no complaints and enjoy every part of it.

More often than not I leave it on the instant MPG. It keeps my foot lighter on the gas pedal (or it makes me giggle when I stomp on it).

I like the range and avg.

I also like getting the email from OnStar with my tire pressure and oil life, lol. I won't keep paying for it when it's gone, but it is pretty cool.

I try not to play with my DIC while driving.

But when I do, I like all the functions.

I like the Fuel Used. I like to be reminded of how much $$ I contributed to the ridiculous bonuses handed out to oil company executives.

I always keep mine on the Total Mileage just so I can see the outside temp. Otherwise, I'd just turn it off. I mean, who wants to stare at the MPG with a 6.2l V8?

Although when I had a rental Tahoe last year with V4/8 mode, I did keep that one on that screen just to see how it worked and when it would kick in.

If you leave it on instant MPG too long it will make you drive like a granny... or make you cuss OPEC.
