Steps On My Truck

Recommended Posts

I'm about to put a 3 inch body lift on my truck, and I'm just a little torn between the n-fabs, dominator II steps, or no steps at all. Tell me what you think

I really like the n-fab steps myself...would look fantastic on your truck. I am looking at them myself, but can't decide if I want the bed access or not. I don't like the look, but want the step.

I just put UWS oval steps on my truck last week...... I think the part number is OSB111 I dunno though. But they are quite nice.....

I looked at the GM ones.... They require drilling.... I don't want to poke holes in my truck and start rust.... So Aftermarket NO DRILL was in order....

Please over look the Dirty Truck..

This is definately a personal preference. My preference is no steps at all. HOWEVER, I have a daughter and short wife, so I had to do something. I went with the black N-Fabs because I thought they were the best, less conspicuous option for the money. If you have the money AMP Research makes a hide-away step that folds under the truck when not in use. I just couldn't justify the $2K(?) for them! The Go Rhino is a good product. I was just able to find a good deal locally for my N-Fabs!

That might be the case for your '99 model, but the GM steps for the GMT900 series trucks are a direct bolt-on! I originally bought a set of the GM 6" ovals for my '07. They bolted to factory locations, just a little too big and "noticeable" for my liking!!

Good Luck with the decision! :)

I have TrailFX on my truck. Click on my profile and you can see how they look on a white truck. I got them on sale but idk if they are still on sale. I got them for 146 shipped and love them. I got the part number from TrailFX and searched it under google shop and it brought up all the best prices.

When I checked 4Wheel Online last week they had the Nfabs and the Go Rhino for the same price.

I'm still debating on getting some also. Just can't decide but I'm sure my steering wheel and door handle would appreciate me getting some :)
