I'll spare the details (how to run two wires) and just post some pictures! :banghead:

Below are the parts I ordered for this.

GM Part numbers: Prices are without S&H.

The light: 15990293 ($50)

The harness: 88862305 ($10)

I'm looking for an LED replacement bulb for it but other than that, I am extremely happy. If I use it even once it will have been worth it. :(

Looks good :(

I have something similar in my truck. It's called a flash light :banghead:

You see, it's the principal. There's principalities in the whole thing, Smokey. - Big Perm.

Where did you order the parts from daddy?

And what is that you wired it into?

GMpartsdirect.com

That's the fusible link on the passenger side of the firewall right by the battery.

Thats pretty neat. Now I just need to figure out how to mount a step ladder in there!

Oh, I do miss having that light. Change a tire once at midnight and it's priceless. A flashlight under the seat will always have a dead battery when you need it.

This is a darn good idea. I think I found my next mod.

(now if I would only get my gears installed that I have had for several months... GRRR)

My local parts guy.

What dealership do you work at again? I have some friends in PA who may be looking for a truck soon and if they are close, I'd love to give your lot the bidness! :idiot:

Bump for Rich.

Hey RICH... do you ship parts and accessories?

Posted

I don't want to speak for Rich, but he has shipped stuff to me...at least the smaller stuff. On larger items, I make the hour or so drive to his dealership...which turns into a couple of hours of shooting the bull with him in the parts room! He's good people...
