If it's any consolation, this happened to my 6.2L Sierra. It took a while, about 3 weeks. But you'd never know it's had an engine replacement. And they extended the power train warranty for me as well. They also gave me a $750 credit for accessories. FYI1 point

had some free time today so I installed the foglights and headlights. tomorrow I will try to finish it up. I need to clean up the wiring and put the rest of the body back together. I did not upgrade the grill yet so I'll need to figure out how to make the "custom" grill work temporarily. If I had more time I would have made a tutorial video because the only thing I could find on YouTube was how to remove the grill and another video of truck with no headlight but it did help. I only broke about three plastic clips lol1 point

Well I have been creeping on here long enough..... 2017 CC SB Silverado LT 2WD. Bought the truck back in July of 17. Mods: 20inch black and chrome replica wheels Diode upgrade to BCM so that fogs come on anytime the parking lamps are on (can't remember the pins right off) $200 6 inch running boards from Amazon Removed rear lift blocks Removed front lower valance Replaced cargo and reverse bulbs with LED Plasti-dipped all chrome badges to black Lund Genesis Elite 95892 tonneau transferred from 09 Sierra. (Had to add some weather stripping to the front edge to get it sealed on the 17) Carbon fiber vinyl applied to exterior bow ties1 point

Removed the grill and cut out the area that will house the light bar. Next, working on the mounting brackets. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk1 point

Doubt it would do too much damage in a reverse light. They don't usually stay on long enough to get that hot. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk1 point

There is the possibility that the AFM lifter is starting to fail. This is the code everyone gets when one starts to go. You seemed to have eliminated the other possibilities.1 point

Same issue. I have disconnected Bluetooth until a solution has been found. Otherwise, I forget to turn the phone volume back up and I miss texts & calls.1 point

Not sure how I contradicted myself. I said I had no "real issues". I guess my definition of issues is different then yours. Can you mount 35's on a stock without any mods? In my opinion no. Could you mount 35's with a level kit and no issues? Maybe, every 35 measures out a little different. I would consider the things I had to do after mounting a tire that measures 35.04x13.39 on stock wheels, side effects not issues. I put a tire on my truck that was never designed to be there. In order to do this I had to modify the truck. My upper control arm is about 3/4 inch from the tire. Maybe just slightly less than that at full droop. If it clears, it clears. My angles look fine to me, I'm not worried about any of my angles. As time passed and I hit some different bumps, curbs, etc I found I had I still had a small rub from time to time. I located it, made a few more changes and corrected. Did i cut on my truck? Yes but it was done carefully and I took a little at a time. Anytime you venture away from the way the truck was designed there are going to be issues. Some big, some small. Even replacing the tag lights with led's on these trucks will set trouble codes. Some of us can deal with that, others can't. I got news for ya, even without 35's you truck will still be one of the best looking trucks ever designed. For each their own.1 point

Super interested in doing the opposite for this, I have a 2017 and prefer the 2014-2015 front end. Anyone in the pacific northwest and want to trade?1 point

The calls are missed when you leave the truck. The phone volume can be wide open when you get in the truck and will automatically go to zero when it connects to bluetooth. When you get out of the truck it stays at zero. I do not set my iphone to vibrate unless I switch it to silent. So when you get out of the truck with the volume changed to zero, it does not ring or notify you of any text or emails unless you turn the volume up when you get out of the truck. This is why the calls are missed. I have not found any setting on the truck or my iphone to change this.1 point

Because the only way you know someone is calling is the music goes off, no sound and maybe a phone number will show up on truck display. Have to reach over and turn volume up on truck to hear whoever is calling. Not only 2019’s. We have a 2020 2500HD. Same issue1 point

@WwRGSwW, I don't want to get your hopes up, as I have not done much research yet, but you may be able to add an interior window film (or possibly tint) that can give you the same benefit as a "specialty" windshield being discussed in this topic. My father just picked up his 2019 Silverado LT All Star and I plan to do some awesome modifications to his truck for him. One thing I've always liked is a HUD and I hope to look into this over the next month or so. Just food for thought.1 point

I checked out the install instructions. No way I would tear my dash apart to put that in. I'm still not used to pressing the button to disable, but I'm getting better at it.1 point

Yes. When your phone connects via Bluetooth, you adjust the phone ringtone volume with the trucks volume controls. As your phone is ringing in the truck, turn the volume up to your desired level. Once that setting is set, it will stay at that level every time to connect to the vehicle. Your phone will still show that the volume is low but the truck ringtone will be at the level you set it at. I keep my iPhone on silent mode all the time but as soon as it connects to the truck, my normal ringtone will play through the trucks speakers at the volume I set with the trucks volume controls.0 points
