Do you have your order number? If not, you need to get it from your dealer. Then you can use gm chat to get the current 'event code' for your order. If you are in Canada, 'chat' won't give you any info -- you will need to get 'event code' updates from you dealer. Understand that the system really isn't intended or designed to provide 'live' status of the order to the customer. Sometimes a little information is better than none -- and sometimes it just makes it more frustrating.

So there are 2 versions of the 5.3L engines for 2019 (and also for 2020) L82 which is AFM and L84 which is DFM. Neither is flexfuel --- BUT as an option on the L82 (which is only available on the base trim level) it can be added. FHS E85 FlexFuel capable of running on unleaded or up to 85% ethanol 1 - Requires (L82) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine. Not available with (ZW9) pickup bed delete. Back in 14/15 time frame the E85 capable trucks came with an alcohol sensor and the computer would change the fuelling, depending on the % alcohol detected. GM published higher horsepower ratings for the 5.3 when running on E85 on an engine with the sensor and variable fuelling tables. EDIT to add -- back to original question -- no E85 capability on an AT4.

Includes (JL1) trailer brake controller. Not available with 22" LPO wheels or (X31) X31 Off-Road Package. On SLT - Requires (L84) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine or (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine and 18" or 20" wheels and tires. Not available with 22" LPO wheels, or (X31) X31 Off-Road Package. NHT not available on other trims But as mentioned, tow mirrors are now available without the NHT package.

I regretted buying a 6.2. Traded on a 5.3 NHT. Eventually want back to a 2500 dmax, which was where I started in the first place.

Mine is an '18 that has had Michelin on it since new. Always smooth. It's on 18's rather than 20's.

Might be true on 2020's, if the 'gauge' is accurate -- I don't have a '20, but it sounds like there are issues with it. 2011 there was no def gauge at all -- just the miles remaining warnings. 2012 - 2019 have a def level indicator. Won't tell you if it's full -- only gives a % indication if it thinks their is less than 30%. Above 30 it just says 'OK'. Which of course is useless for 'checking to see if full'. Ya, I know, it's a 2020 thread.

'Remote start disabled' if there is an active CEL was a 'feature' on earlier generations as well. Dealer not filling the def tank at delivery has also been an ongoing problem, for as long as we've had def. For many, this means and early and unexpected warning to add def -- and an assumption that it was because of high consumption rate. Just like fuel tank level, the def tank is NOT filled at the factory. For trucks purchased after sitting on a lot this is probably a good thing.

If the glowplug system is similar to the 6.6L system, the glowplug 'on' time will be very short, even in cold weather. Since the 3.0 is a new release nobody (outside GM) has cold weather experience with it. We'll know a lot more in 6 months...

3.0 does NOT use the same oil as the 6.6L dmax. For the 3.0L : Viscosity Grade Use SAE 0W-20 viscosity grade engine oil. Specification Use engine oils that meet the dexosD specification. It's been a few years, but when I was working in Tier one autoparts (direct suppliers to the OEM's) 60 to 80 day supply was pretty 'normal'. We supplied parts to many models/plants so watched the numbers try and help predict our combined production schedule. Do we need overtimed, what machine time can we schedule for maintenance/rebuilds etc etc.

Point is that you can stop during regeneration. Whoever told you otherwise was wrong.

I've stopped during regen many many many times with an LMM, an LML and now with the L5P. Depending on how the posted were worded the were at least misleading, at most they were wrong.
