  1. Just saw a video on youtube where the guys axle hubs are not round and want to check that out next time I have a chance. Before that I've been thinking I'd take my shaft out and let PST check it for issues. Mine only shakes a little when my tires are not below the crazy stupid 10lb road force only needed for high end high speed cars before these trucks.
  2. I have the 55w with 6500k bulbs and my LED highs and fogs are 5k to match. I'd say the 55w kits get about a year before they are down to 35w output. I'm going to try better bulbs next time and see if I can get 2 years of crazy bright.
  3. Run test leads from battery to power kit instead of the truck wiring. TRS supplies a lead for this with bare red and back wire end. If it work it's how truck is hooked to it. If not it's wire or part failure in the kit. Most likely wiring or relay as all other parts will only kill one side while the other works Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. The other must be better these don't exist yet. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Not right Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. 55 watt hid will lower in color. 6000k hid will be more like a 5000k 35 watt system. Led will look as advertised ususally, so you'll want 35 watt 6000k hid for 6000k leds or to do 55 watt 6000k you will need 5000k leds. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. Shocked these still aren't out. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. If it is a hose and it bounces, it could only loose seal at certain moments on leak more at those moments. Just a thought. Most like that guy had other issues. This week will finally be below 80 here so no more sweating. I'm sure will go back up though. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. Post again in a while as I have to take mine in and give them a chance to fix it first. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. Today was the first time really driving it and the flash to stock they claimed made a change. I drives just like new now and is kicking to V4 more again. It hasn't done this since they false neutral fix for the transfer case the dealer did at 6150 miles. So, that tells me they screwed something up when they did it. Another recommended another dealer and that is what I'm going to do after these guys fix the scratches they put in it for me.
  11. What does the hardware look like and how does it attach? Seen someone post where they had to tab into a bunch of wires, so hoping they have a plug and play kit instead.
  12. My dealer just claimed my stock truck was tuned, so is there a way to prove it wasn't? I have not tuned it to make sure it has a warranty. Starting to sound like I'm missing out on drivability for security they are going to lie me right out of anyways. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. I just picked up my truck. It stalled out one day backing out of the driveway and then almost died pulling up to a light. Took it to the dealer for that and other issues. 8 days of driving a rental truck. I go get mine. Scratched up everywhere and they had done nothing because they said it was tuned. I never tuned because it is the one vehicle that I don't have to fix this way. I was shocked. They then said they could flash it to stock. I didn't know what to do so I let them do their thing, but I don't trust my dealer service now either. I'll see if they will actully fix the paint damage soon and hope I never need a motor since they are already saying it's tuned with there being no big issue. Glad to hear K&N step up. Might have to get their intake so they help me later. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. I put new tires on mine, Michelins. Dealer is trying to blame the tires still. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. Guess I can add a new one. Yesterday something let go in the ducting, I think. Fan still goes to high, but only a little comes out of the vents making the cab not cool. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  16. Probably the relays going bad. These seam to kill relays. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  17. The Silverado use a 3" and those can take more heat. The Sierra and maybe the 2016 Silverado, use 2.5" and those do have trouble with 55 watt. I have 55 watt in the 3" and have had no issues with 15,000 miles running them. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  18. Is that a large can of bondo sneaking up behind it? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  19. I threw the belt, but that is the only issue so far 25,560 on it now. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  20. Think most are doing 4500K with the 35 watt so you will need 5000 or 5500K with the 55watt. Not sure which would be the best. My 50 watt 6000K matches my LED lights at 5000K pretty well. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  21. I just used some glue to hold the nuts and put all 4 bolts in to the brackets. Upgraded the size of the bolt and used all stainless. Also used larger stainless to hold the brackets to the housing, the same when I did it before the fast brackets in post 901. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah, I flipped when it was like $275 for both the prototypes to get it right, but didn't want junk on my nice truck. I'm in the two for my truck around $650. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  23. Are the 6112 coming out any time soon? Forgot about it for a while and figured they'd have at least info by now. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  24. I made an extended cap. https://www.shapeways.com/product/VM2A8WEEU/one-extended-silverado-headlight-cap Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  25. Of course they test. 2014 just tested for 2015 and they test for 2016. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
