hey i am a new member i've been looking for something like this because i have a lot of questions about my new truck i just got about a year ago. its a 2008 1500 SLE 5.3L all black with 20's. i went from a 96 Chevy with a 454 engine lots of power to a 5.3L which can't even do a little burn out. i have not done anything to it because well im from Michigan in the detriot area and things are a little bad here. Any ideas to give it a little more power but are cheap :dunno:..... plus i know nothing about these new trucks the computers are way over my head.

Welcome to the site. And I have no problem with doing a burnout, and thats before I did my mods.

The power is there but drive by wire and torque management are keeping you from instantly applying it. It sucks. You can do away with the torque management by getting a tune. Contact Black Bear (sponsor here) and see what they can do for you.

K&N Aircharger Kit, Flowmaster Exhaust. That's really all the performance stuff I have done. Looking into a Black Bear tune though. Hear lots of good things about it. :dunno:
