The truck looks great. Since when did BDS start making a 6.5" HC kit for the 1500? Their site only shows a 6".

BDS is by far worth the money! all i need now is to get my MPG back to good. i was getting 21 hwy and 17 in town now its like 14 hwy and 11 in town. :-(

any suggestions? exhaust? programmers? ive heard lots about Blackbear. high flow air filter kits? im use to the good ol hypertech and airraid with flowmaster set up. but im out dated on my upgrades after reading some of yalls comments. I have plenty power i just want to carry those 35's a little easier and not have to shift in and out of 2nd and 3rd gear so much! il really like to get some MPG back. any ideas? What would be your first say $350 investment for MPG?

Looks good! From what I have read on here I would have Justin from Blackbear do a tune for you. I am thinking about getting one from him sometime soon.

A custom tune will work wonders, but If you really want to stop the repeated shifting and regain some driveability, you need to regear.

First off for the MPG. Have you had the computer recalibrated for you new tires yet? If not, there is some of your mileage. Your speedo and odometer are off, and that will give falsely low MPG.

My first $350 would be without a doubt a Black Bear tune!!! He can adjust you speedo and give you more power, better shift points, and maybe some mileage. Don't count on getting a lot of mileage back though. More wt, less aerodynamics, and bigger heavier tires/wheels.

You need new gears to really get the shifting under control. I would look into 4.56 or 4.88 gears.

....except.... 2009 1500 SLE has the 6L80E correct? He needs 4.10s
