i cant figure out how to take out the top half of my dash , i have 2004 silverado 1500, ive already taken out all the screws but i cant figure out how to take out the handle over the airbag on the passenger side, the driver side has alrady lossened up its jus stuck there on the handle ,

i cant figure out how to take out the top half of my dash , i have 2004 silverado 1500, ive already taken out all the screws but i cant figure out how to take out the handle over the airbag on the passenger side, the driver side has alrady lossened up its jus stuck there on the handle ,

 

 

take out the air vents (gently) on either side of the handle. behind them, you should find some tabs that should allow you to take off the handle. I believe you have to twist and turn the handle.
