Turn Lights

I own a 2002 GMC sierra

 

I always thought American cars have red rear direction/turn lights?

 

My Sierra is original US but the tail lights look like this

 

 

and the turn lights are orange.

 

Is that typical on the 2002 GMC Sierra ? or is it normally red?

There typical rear lights with the orange.

Your tailights are the same as here for a 2002, I think that from 2003 up they came all red, all american car manufacturers use red or orange for turn signals.

I like the Orange turn signal it's really easy to see.
