Is it just me or has Ford trucks started looking gay and not tough anymore?

 

Not so much gay as extremely arrogant and crass. Can you imagine the level of compensation you need to buy a truck like that?

Frankly, Ford has officially lost their mind when it comes to their truck designs.

 

I like GM approach where the HD looks like a heavier duty 1/2 ton. Not NEARLY as crass and arrogant.

 

This Super Doodie makes the Aztek look like a Ferrari.

Looks are subjective, but you can bank on this....

 

That is one hell of a truck and Ford will sell a shitload of them. They must be doing something right.

I probably wouldn't buy one...but I kinda like it. It IS a big step up from the current model--thank God for that. The grille would be better if they got rid of 40% of the chrome, and the interior lines could be a lot less "Star Trek". But the gauges are cool!

 

I hope Ford sells a lot of them. Not as many as the Sierras/Silverados naturally. But from the perspective that I hope it helps bring consumers back to American trucks.

There are no foreign companies making HD pickups for the US market.

And actually, there aren't too many people buying foreign 1/2 tons either. :D

And Ford is the only truck manufacturer trying to pass off a refreshed 90's model truck as new. The platform is over 10 years old, whats new about that? At least GM's chassis isn't quite that old tech, and has an all new body and interior.
