long time gm owner.hane owned probably 15 different vehicles.currently have 08 gmc 5.3 1500 sle 4x4.i was checking some of the post and there seems to be quite a few topics.will keep me busy for awhile.a question i have is i'm running my truck w/volant cai and diablo predator and stock exhaust.my question is should i just replace factory muffler or go with a complete system.i tow my bass boat quite a bit around texas and was just looking to let it breathe a little better.i live in texas on toledo bend lake and tow all over fishing the lakes in texas and louisiana.i'm a coonass from abbeville and work in the gulf of mexico as a captain so i will never lose my roots.any info or experiences with this truck appreciated.

Welcome to the site. Whats your ultimate goal and budget?

 

If it was me, I'd go with either Corsa cat back or Magnaflow Cat back. For my truck I chose Corsa for 2 reasons. No drone in the cab... and no drone in the cab. :cheers: I had magnaflow on my last truck (2003 5.3) and loved it. The 6.0 motor doesn't play nice many mufflers unless you like drone and why I chose Corsa.
