Did Some Rescuing

I was on my way to the Halloween store in search for a costume for my son. Another one of my little brother's friends called me and asked if I "still had a truck." This is when I ALWAYS say, I wish I didnt have a truck. I helped move a sleeper couch last week, but this time was better. He was with his older brother and cousin....stuck in a mud hole at the C&D Canal. This was a job I didn't mind doing b/c its, well....its fun! Got him out quickly. He didnt have a rear hitch so I strapped his rear axle and took it easy. 20 mins later we were in another spot getting stuck. Got a few pics and a vid....enjoy.

They gave me 60 bucks for the tow strap. I bought one on the way there. I needed one anyway, but didn't ask them to pay for it. One of them snuck it into my change holder in the truck. Clean-up SUCKED!! 2 1/2 hours of CONSTANT powerwashing. Luckily I found a place that charges 6.00 for 20-30 mins. Took 6.00 just to clean the bay out when I was done.

What?! The cheapest carwash around here charges $4 to turn the dam thing on, and then a dollar per minute to keep it on. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to go after 4 p.m. on Sundays and 6 p.m. on Monday-Saturday so the attendant is already gone. Lol it only took one trip to the carwash before I invested in a powerwasher. Now I can get the truck on jackstands and take the tires off and take my sweet ass time! Looks like everybody had a good time and more importantly, didn't break anything! :jester:
