Hello all.

 

found this forum researching a p0449 code that turned out to be a dirty MAS. seemed like a good bunch of guys.

 

heres a pic of my 03 I bought new and have been working on over the years. It got its 6 month bath weather it liked it or not today lol

 

gibson exhaust,,, trueflow air intake,,, true HID install with real HID projectors,,, pioneer avic Z2 nav, memphis amps and bass speakers, focal door speakers.

Nitto mudgrappler's 35/12.50/20 mazzi 20" rims.

thanks guys, im in the auto industry and this has been the best vehicle ive had.

 

the Nittos have 37k on them now and they will get another 15k easy.

 

first 3 years the truck only had 15k on it and then i did the lift, right now it only has 52K on it.

 

only trouble has been the common stearing wheel clunk the half fixed under warranty and now its back.

 

it didnt idle well last year but a can of carb clean fixed that

 

had a check engine light and that was the MAS and a can of brake cleaner fixed that.

 

gets a intermittent p0449 code but you clear it and it runs a long time before it resets.

 

oh and i got the service 4whl drive light but you pull the buttons out and it goes right out [the common bad solder issue on the push buttons]
