Hey everyone. New guy here, don't have a silverado, but I'm looking. Right now I have a 2007 Nissan Titan (big tow package). I was riding by a dealership and found this....

Its a 2007 LTZ with Navi (35k miles 4x4). They're asking 34k for it. I think thats pretty high, Realistically what do you think I could drop them down to? Also are the 07's known fo anything bad?? I've heard transmission trouble, but I've only seen one documented instance. Thanks again, I'll know more on Friday when I take my truck in

Wecome to the site. Looks like a nice truck, with the lift and rims and tires it should be worth what they are asking. I have a 08 and havent heard off any tranny problems with them at all. Good luck on the buy. Hope it works out for you.

thats what I thought. If they don't go down to 28-29k I doubt I can get it. thats just a little pricey for me right now. Not to mention it would be my 5th vehicle in a year and a half  Anyway, I'll see what I can get out of them, I really like the truck, but the accountant (IE:wife) wouldn't like the idea of having to owe even more per month

thanks for the welcome guys. I'm going to be heading there tomorrow for lunch to talk some numbers. Hopefully I can get them down to 28-29k (and get about 22k for mine). Anyway, I'll know by tomorrow

Thanks again!!! I started looking at prices and I can get a 2007 Dodge Diesel for about the same price (if not lower), so I'm hoping they will come down A LOT. If it doesn't work out, I'm willing to walk away (which is a good thing). THEN IF they come down the other issue comes up...THE WIFE (insert scary music here)

Well I went down there and it went pretty well. I got them down to $26,5. They are going to offer me 19k for my Titan. I checked under the hood and it had an AEM brute Force CAI. Can someone tell me what height superlift that is??? I'm assuming 6, but it rubbed pretty good on full turn (tires are 35/12.50/18's). Also, it looks like the shocks in the rear are ranchos, can anyone confirm?? Anyway here are more pics. Does it seem like theres a lot of fluid on the axle shaft near the diff??

The rear diff cover might because it is not the factory one and the gasket might be seeping abit. That is a good cover from what I have read in some 4 wheeler mags. Not sure on your other questions. So you gonna get it then?

well I told them no and they came back with 23k. I still can't do it. My wife is dead set on not getting another car. Anyway, if you're looking for one in NC, let me know
