Greetings from Sunny Florida!

 

I am very happy to claim that I am the proud owner of a new 2009 Chevy Silverado LT Ext Cab. I am so thrilled with it and just love everything about this truck. Especially how comfortable and smooth it is to drive. The Tundra, OMG what a POS! People carry on about the great Toyota Quality but I didn't see it being immune to typical quality issues and let me tell you that thing had a BOUNCY gut jiggling RIDE. Toyota and their open C-Frame under the Box!. Ugh!.

 

I can't wait to get started on my new Silverado. I want to go with some bigger Wheels/Tires, Tint the windows, do something with those black door handles that stick out like a sore thumb. Either go with painted door handles or chrome covers, Running boards The WORKS!.

 

This thing is loaded too with everything from Remote Start, to bluetooth, Power seats, Power folding Mirrors, everything but Leather and Nav. Which is okay with me!.

Here's an update. A few mods..

 

Painted door handles and Mirror caps, Nerfbars, Tinted windows..

 

Still need either bigger meats on those dinky wheels or bigger wheels altogether. I would kill for a set of Z71 20's.

Good to see that you are modding nice and quickly. By the way, what % tint did you decide to go with?

 

I wanted to match the factory privacy glass and was told by the tint shop to go 15% on the sides so thats what I did. It's a wee bit darker than 20% which was what I was going to do but its nowhere dark as limo!.
