Moments before a shift is commanded, the PCM/ECM will reduce engine torque significantly and maintain this reduction until after the shift has completed, causing what is commonly referred to as a "rocking chair shift".

What should I choose? I confused about this question.

I had him remove 100% on mine. My right foot is the only TM I wanted. But in T/H mode I had him leave it alone because I do tow a lot.

Do you have a tow/haul mode on your truck?

What a lot of people do is remove 75-80% in regular mode and 100% in TH and turn it into a Tow/Haula$$ mode.

Have been reading about some guys having some issues with removing 100% of the TM. Most of the guys on the HPtunners forum remove 95%. They say it has some negative effects on stabilitrak, and in some cases it has put the vehicles into Limp mode. If you dont have stabilitrak, you should be able to remove 100% without any issues though.

Just a little info for guys with stabilitrak...

Your s10 will be fine with 100% removed

No T/H mode and I rarely toe.

The only thing the truck is used for is hauling wood and the occasional dead body...

jk

maybe XD
