Is The Nbs Bed The Same As Older Silverado Model Beds?

Looking at getting a hard cover for my bed, does anyone know if older Silverados beds are of the same design. See quite a few used fiberglass bed covers on craigslist. So would say a 98 or 2000 or 2006 or what not truck bed cover fit the same for the NBS? thank you

I'm almost positive nothing before '07 will fit right. You might be able to fudge it with a soft tonneau, but a hard cover won't match up right.

I'd go to the manufacturers website for the cover you're looking at and see if the part numbers are the same. No guess work involved

Even if the contact dimensions fit, the height of the new models' bed would leave me to assume the roof heights of the cab and cover would not match.

I compared the 07 classic crew to an 07 gmt-900 bed and they are different at the front. Not sure if the 6.5' bed would be a similar difference or not. But the Crews have a different width at the front.

Cool, thank you for the replies, i didnt think it would work, but ill check a manufacturer of hard covers and see if the numbers match just for the heck of it.
