So Many Exhaust Choices!

Hello everyone, I have finally decided to "fix" my exhaust and make it a bit louder. I have done some research on the many different mufflers such as Flowmasters, Cherry Bomb, Magnaflow etc. I could purchase but I cannot decide which to buy. So please let me know your opinion on what you think would be the best sounding exhaust for my chevy truck.

Oh and btw my truck is a 1993 C1500 with a 5.7L.

You should use the search feature, this topic is very abundant on this site. So many choices, so you will get many opinions. There was just a recent one last week. The exhaust you get will all depend on what sound, performance, budget, etc... you are looking for...

I did a exhuast poll also recently so you can see what exhaust people have put in their trucks...

I have the Cherry Bomb Vortex 3" SI/2.5" DO muffler, 45'd rolled tips with an SS style exit. I love it. I will definately put the 3" SI/3" DO Cherry Bomb Vortex muffler on my 05'. Both trucks have the 5.3L Vortec engine. If you Youtube this muffler you will fall in love with the sound...Hope this helps in your decision...

Youtube is your friend here. What sounds good to me could sound like crap to you. There are thousands of videos on Youtube of different systems.

MBRP is fairly new to automotive exhaust systems, but has been making them for snowmachines and motorcycles for years. I've run just about all of the major exhaust brands over the years on many different vehicles. The MBRP on my 09 Sierra 5.3L is one of the best sounding systems I've heard yet. The price is pretty attractive too ...they have three different "trim levels" (2 in Stainless Steel, and 1 Aluminized). The JBA shorty headers I installed also add to the aggressiveness in sound and performance.
