I have a 99 silverado 1500 short bed single cab 5.3L. What I want isa solid 6" suspension lift. I've gone from forum to forum trying to find threads on BDS sus. lifts. I can't find too much, but what I have found has all been good. It has all been limited info. though. If anyone out there has had any expierience intalling or even has one that is being used i would appreciate the input.

I had one on my old crewcab sonoma. the quality was top-notch and the installer said it was the nicest complete kit he's ever put together. I ran that truck for 2 years, on and off road, and never had a single issue with anything. my biggest advice is to call around to as many sellers/installers that are local to you. when I did, I found a price difference (from low to high) of about $400 for the same kit.

I don't have any experience with a BDS suspension but I've heard on here that it is one of the best companies to deal with, product performance wise and costumer service. If I ever do decide to go higher, which theres a good chance I will, BDS will be the first company I look at

A top shelf company with a top shelf warranty. My truck rides and aligns great. I haven't beat up on the lift, but it seems very solid. No creaks, moans, groans, etc. The best part is the warranty IMO. If I go out wheeling and bend my cross member on a stump, I get a new one at no cost from BDS.

Yea I did that and for the non-torsion drop 6.5" lift with gas shocks and dual steering stabilizers the best quote was $1900 to my door step. Does that seem like a good deal to you?

that is an EXCELLENT deal man, i cant find a high clearance BDS lift in canada for that. closest i come is 2300 bucks...dont worry about a thing man. BDS is like the best lift you can put on a chevy, the two best things are the warranty and that your torsion bars wont hang down. they look nice man, never had one but ive seen alot of trucks with them around here. ive never seen a BDS lift on a truck that dog-tracked or leaned. fab-tek and tuff country i would never buy. are you gettin the BDS 3/16" control arm and belly pan skid plates too?? they look nice!!

Why pay 1900 to 2200 for a bds 6in lift when you can get a rcx 6in for 999 or the non tor drop for 1100 you can put the left over money in rims or tires.

I don't believe RCX compares to BDS. Just based on what I've read on a few forums.
