Yukon With No Beam Headlights

Hey. I have a 2001 Yukon that is giving me problems with the low beam headlights. The problem started with the low beams working intermittently. Now the low beams won't come on at all. I had the truck at a dealership, and they replaced the dimmer switch for $600. That's right, $600. The first night that I needed the lights, they didn't work at all. The high beams work fine. I notice that during the day the DRL's don't work either, or any of the side marker lights. I have checked all fuses and relays. Still no low beams. I had added a relay kit to get the 4 lite mod to have all 4 lamps to come on. But have since removed the relay. With the relay kit installed all lites worked fine. I have made a appointment with GM next week. So they will have to go thru it again. Has anybody experienced this problem before? Any suggestions to try?

Sorry, not really a "popular" problem.

Make sure of 2 things:

Return truck and wiring back to stock form.

Make double-damn sure the repair order says $0.00

This is a comeback...no charge to you.

I had a similar issue with my '02 YukonXL, although I lost both high and low beams. Fog lights still worked though.

Ended up being the 'multi-purpose' switch (as they called it), which is located in the steering column.
