We're supposed to get a little tonight, last I heard. I told my wife (who is still in VA) last night that me coming down here has changed everything. Within a couple of days of moving here in December '08, Baton Rouge got the most snow it had seen in 20 years, all two or three inches of it. Now, a year later, Virginia and DC are getting hit hard and the Saints won the Super Bowl, beating her Colts. Win-win for me. Besides the "Blizzard" of '96, I can't remember the last somewhat significant amount of snowfall during my combined twenty-seven years of living in VA and MD.

We were hit really hard here in Colorado. Where I am we got a horrifying 1/4"!

It's snowing here now, started about 8am after freezing rain and rain all day yesterday. I'm going out to get a puppy in a bit and see how many cars are in ditches; hopefully I won't be the first.

Dallas had a record snowfall, we got over 12.5" of snow in Dallas.

Our Friday snow started melting about 30 minutes after my post. By the time I left the house the roads were only a little wet.

Between the two back to back storms, we got over 2 feet. So glad I invested in my monster Ariens snowblower...after 2 years of not needing it much, it was def worth its weight in gold!
