KMGZ400 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 earlier this week i slid off a slushy road and scraped some trees. it suck. thank god my truck sustained no mechanical damage, the front end it in tact and engine compartment is still perfect. only problem is that i dont have a window. my friend with his f150 pulled me out and i drove away. the brushguard actually saved my headlights and blinkers and it saved my front bumper but the guard itself got a little bent.
Jubei69 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Ouch, sorry to hear the dude, at least you weren't hurt. Now your truck can become the bionic truck... It can be rebuilt, bigger, faster, stronger, better....
Stevens03 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Oh man that sucks. Hopefully insurance will get you back to normal soon.
chevylobo Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 wow i am glad your not hurt that could have been alot worse . funny thing tho the cops responded that seems so odd for up there. used to live up there dealt with alot of people having huge wrecks and cops taking for ever to get there.
hockeypro1411 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Glad nobody was hurt, but did you seriously use that dental floss looking rope tied to a hitch to get out of that?
amtz.zero Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 That sucks! I hate to see stuff like this. Glad you're not hurt, though.
99silveradoz71 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Ouch, but as I tell people on the crashes I handle, none are good, but I suppose if you have to pick a positive to an accident, it'd be having one that you can walk away from.
nootron69 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Ahhhh, Scranton, just north of my home town of Wilkes-Barre. I had a super close call this morning with all the crap we got down here in Harrisburg area...last second my front wheels caught and missed a guardrail. Glad it wasn't too serious.
KMGZ400 Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Glad nobody was hurt, but did you seriously use that dental floss looking rope tied to a hitch to get out of that? hhaa the rope snapped but it got me out good news insurance is paying full and they are covering my brushguard, rain guards, and i ripped my foglights out off roading and they are gonna replace them!
gregrocks89 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 of course the cops would be there. shitty deal dude. i did a couple of that stuff with my old truck. except no denting but more like 5ft scratches down the body
chevylobo Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 nootron your in harrisburg area too the roads are horrable down here arent they lol

I'm glad you're ok. Really sucks having to go to the ER. Even scarier is when you trust the EMTs.
