hey guys...i bought a bug guard from autopartsdirect.com last July and for some reason its cracked already. It was a WeatherTech. Not sure out is cracked...Just walked out one day and saw it like that...could have been from the cold temps. No rocks or anything like that....

Any ideas on a better one out there to get?

I want this one to last a few years...as they should..

Thanks

I remember how my first one on my 1999 got broke... It was quite funny. The other half hung her shirt sleeve on the end and was walking quite fast (I think she has kept that hair dyed brown since I met her just sooooo I would not think it was blond).... In the car port which tends to get quite moist on that slick floor if the garage door is open over night. Broke it into 2 pieces and she ended up with her feet under the front bumper....

With that said,..... Lund makes some good stuff... (this should be a link to the stuff they have for the 06 Yukon)

GM 12499133 is also an option... Nothing fits like OE....

I just put on my EGR from autoanything. I got the superguard and 0 wind noise, feels strong and fastenes to the 5 holes under the hood. No tape.

I also have the AVS (Auto Vent Shade) Bug Guard. It's good. Like the others it causes turbulence over the hood, across the windshield pillar, and sunroof, but that better than having chips and dents from pebbles in the leading edge of my hood.

I just put on a WeatherTech the other day. You had me worried until you posted yours was an AVS after all. I like the WeatherTech so far. No extra wind noise from it except when the wind gusts get over 30mph, which happens from time to time out here in West Texas.
