Found out my 83 year old mom has cancer. Getting a pet scan tomorrow so will know more then. If you are so inclined please say a prayer for her. If you are not the praying type then at least send some positive thoughts her way.

I often think about this as my parents are approaching their 80's.

Sorry to hear it. It hasn't been the greatest around here either. An East side department had an officer die in the line of duty due to a cardiac episode while chasing some one, then a department in the adjacent county West of us had an officer shot and killed the other night on a disturbance call.
