Looking for a GM parts guy to help me with a little information I need.

Looking for some part numbers and trying to figure out exactly what I need to order for some factory parts I'm wanting. Send me a message if you can help me out.

Thanks

GM parts guy here! :D Whatcha' need man? :)

I thought I remembered you being a parts guy. I think i had you run me a build sheet once.

Anyway, I have a 07 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic. It has roof lights on it, but ive notice they are not factory. They look factory but there not. Ive used the brand before and dont like them becasue the lenses crack, the wiring is junk, etc. I'm wanting to pull it all out and replace it with factory components. I'm going to need all the parts necessary for that. Lights, Harness, screws...etc..etc.

Ive hunted around trying to come up with the right stuff but im worried ill either get the wrong thing or not everything that I would need. For instance some of the websites show the harness either with gps or w/o gps. I'm not sure if this is something to do with the onstar or what it means.

I did pull the headliner down and look to see what up there. There is a harness that runs up on the passenger side A-pillar It is p/n 15854441. I followed it and it goes to the onstar/xm antenna.

Do you think you can help me out to find the right stuff? I'm also wanting to get the light that comes on the 1ton trucks and mounts above the rear bumper. I believe the p/n for that is 15248604.

I appreciate you helping me out if you can.

Thanks

OK Pat,Let me look these up when I get to the garage tomorrow morning,on the harness....I think we can just go with one for cab lights but without XM/On-Star,even though you have them. (IE-I'll look up a harness for a truck with cab lights, but without XM/On-Star)

I'll also check that harness part number you posted and see what all options its for.

If I'm not mistaken, the harness plugs into the side of the passenger side I/P,You have to open the passenger door up to gain access to it.

Thanks a ton!

I think your correct about the harness plugging into the side. the only thing i guess we would need to check is to make sure the harness thats in there isnt taking the spot that the cab lights would need to plug into.

If you want shoot me an email since i get them on my phone. I will PM you my email address in case you need it.

thanks again.
