Border Violence: The Real Story...

I know there was a recent post regarding border violence. I live on the Texas/ Mexican border, and there is a virtual media blackout when it comes to the everyday murders and shootings. There is a website that does a pretty good job of reporting these incidents. Most of these drug traffickers (Los Zetas) and cartel members are from deep Mexico and Central America that a coming to the border region to fight this war. Please try not to get too political and blame any political parties or past/present presidents. This is just FYI. What you will see are crimes against humanity, and it goes largely unreported (at least it does here).

Luckily on my part of Texas, we have a physical barrier (the Rio Grande river) and a lot of border patrol officers to keep most of the violence from spilling over (so far). I agree we have to secure our borders, but we have to do it in an organized way. I hope that we can write to our congressmen and ask them to look into it. The media in Mexico is not allowed to cover this because of fear of being killed. Our media does a crappy job of showing the full scope of this problem. It is literally a war zone right across the river. There are other sites that have videos of cartel members torturing members of rival gangs. I chose to not post those links, as they are very disturbing to the mind. This is why I can't help but understand ( not condone) why foreign nationals choose to live as illegals here. My Christian background makes me want to do something to help these people, but there is not much we can do at this point.

There is something we can do at this point......it's called Military Action!

We can fight off anyone in the world, but our Southern border is just a joke.

Neo Nazi's are "real americans"? Worthless criminals if you ask me.

there is a right way of doing things, and a wrong way..IMO theirs is wrong. let the local/state/governments handle it. not good telling a reporter on camera that your going to shoot and kill anybody you come across... :( i wounder how long it will be before someone finds fatty laying face down in the desert somewhere with his head blown off..just as an example to the "outer real Americans"

JMO... :P

I agree that this is not a good way to handle things and it won't be long before they kill an innocent American who they happen to cross paths with. Unfortunately, the government wants nothing to do with improving border security so now we have people who are even less competent than the government trying to protect us.

I can almost guarantee that if an American gets killed by these guys, the media is going to spin it so hard that it's going to make the drug cartels look like the good guys.

Maybe we should invite them in & offer them FEMA cards, welfare checks, free medical insurance and a check for every kid they can spit out. Wait a minute. We don't need any more more UAW members.

ugh, I guess I'll post later. This topic tends to get me going with everyone that chooses to ignore or just doesn't believe the violence is as serious as it is.

What do you think about the neo-nazi's patrolling the border?

Honestly? I think they are of no help either. Most people just want to have the quality of life we make for ourselves without fear for our lives or families lives.

well, what is happening is our society and the rules we are supposed to be holding firmly to keep the lifeline is slowly fading away. The middle class, yes, us, who pays the most in taxes and are hit the hardest by the poor and the rich, are a dying breed.

The neo-nazi's are against rules, fairness, love for all, lack of judging a person based on what's presented and not some mickey mouse muppet " your color is not my color" bullcrap.

I mean, let's get real. we are too far in this game as a whole to act and come up with such trivial criteria. How about leave it the way it is and fine tune it.

It's obvious we cannot sustain the world. I am sorry but we cannot take care of every illegal individual that crosses the border. But we can let in who we can account for. If we need more to assist on work projects because we simply do not have enough, then by golly let the next several in.

we have rules. The cartel follows none, the legal citizens have no firearms to fight against the evil that is being done, and the society of full of anarchy. Rules aren't followed. Take them as an example.

But I am more than willing to step aside and assist that guy who has been waiting and doing things right. He more than likely will bring good things to our country and bring us up rather than down. I don't care if he's African, European, South amercian, etc. Ive met the nicest people that were supposedly by societies standard the bad guy and vice versa. The neo-nazi people aren't known for being rational or understanding so they are just as bad as the next.

Just do it right.

But as far as the criminals. Since we don't know who's here, we don't know who's a criminal. They run for these operations bc there is no accountability. Also, haven't you been to these operations and around our society? A very high percentage, according to the census bureau and industrial statistics aren't even taking jobs in the hot and difficult produce fields. 86% of illegal aliens don't even work in the fields. They are in offices. Actuaslly, they did a recent raid on a very prosperous mortgage company and very few people in the entrie operation besides the owner and financial officer was not even a US Citizen. They were people who never left with expired work and visitor visas.

You can't keep track. We don't need anarchy. If you want anarchy head to Mexico so you can see what a developed coutnry with no rules looks like. If you like it, move there. I like it here.

Just follow the rules in place and we will be fine. It has nothing to do with race.

if someone rapes your sister, do you want him to get less time than a judges daughter? No, equal penealty to the max! Same goes for this. We have to follow the rules on the books my friend.

As far as cartel, dude, in my last post that was locked, you have NO IDEA, my friend. You see more brand new cars from mexico driving around than old beaters barely making it. Ask anyone from san diego..... Like, no joke.

I'm not trying to make a joke or light of the situation.

So what have we covered.

A) Mexico is very violent and don't want it here in the states. Make records and track all that habitually disregard rules.

B) As a total, very FEW actusally work on farms and produce lots. Majority are in jobs next door to us.

C) Rules help keep things fair for all of us. If you like chaos in a developed society, move to mexico, you'll love it. I hear its a blast, literally.

D) Neo-nazi: aren't our rocket scientists of society and aren't known for being rational or reasonable

E) Mexico needs to get rid of the weak as we do, in the political office. They need to enact the death penalty that they did away with and start putting these guys in fear. Last WEEK, A GUY WAS RELEASED BY THE AUTHORITIES, killed other people and then turned himself back to prison. There's no regard for laws. Majority is bought and paid off. don't believe me and trust the news? Go there to Tijuana yourself and get into nonsense and bring cash. see if you get pushed for more cash and if you have none are let go. We of all races and cultures follow the same rules. If I get pulled over we must present out ID. The law states and is on the foreign visitor/work green card visas, it states " you must carry this card with you at all times. ". it's on the card. What is the problem? So if you get pulled over, show it just like I do when I get pulled over. Simple....

F) we all need to look out for eachother. we start here. United we stand, divided we fall....

The cartel is just out of hand though, infiltrating their govt and there is clear proof.

I live on the border unfortunately (about 3 miles away to be exact). I read the other day that we're sending the national guard to help border patrol with the security checkpoints and all that

what they realty need to do is relocate the entire the 1st. CAV. DIV. and place towers/check points every 1,000 M and do fly-by 24/7. and when they run out of personal, then ship in the 1st.ID and the 4th. ID and the 101st as support elements... :D over the years they keep saying the "war on drugs" then lets give them one...

just my .02

    • Thank You Another JR, I watched the transmission temp the highest was 214, the engine temp seemed normal.  Hoping not a valve body issue, but...
    • dexos began as an effort for GM to control the oil change market because the Quick Lube Industry was eating into dealer service department profits big time. So they attempted to get other oem’s to develop standards as well and that would make it hard for Quick Lubes to compete because all the oems would be different. GM faced lot of industry push-back, mostly the quick-lube industry and they went to licenses. Still GM it making a ton of money (est'd 30-40 million in 2025) off the license structure as they charge a hefty fee to get oil tested then require a royalty on ALL gallons sold applicable to GM vehicles.
    • Those are parts changers. It can get expensive though. I was a mechanic for 30 yrs. My truck has made this noise since new. I really don`t know what it is. It really doesn`t bother me. I`m still in warranty but have not brought it to the dealer.   I`m not buying the oil pump prime thing. Screw the TSB. I believe it`s in the trans pump gears. They rattle when that piss poor ULV oil drains off after a while. I believe those sharp tooth gears, with backlash, can rattle when dry. Not a vane style oil pump. Wonder who`s right? Me, or the TSB?🤔   Maybe I`m wrong?
    • Sounds about right. I miss the days of mechanics lol.
    • On the PCM side, blue PCM connector, pin 18, solid gray color (no stripe) wire circuit 435.  That is the EGR low circuit which an issue on that line (be it the wiring, the PCM or the EGR valve or system performance) will trigger P0401 when it tests that code.     There is also a VERY old TSB that states to make sure you clear the DTCs ANY time the PCM is unplugged, reprogrammed, or if the EGR valve is unplugged or replaced as the PCM has an auto zero function in the PCM for the EGR pintle data   61-65-59: SMU - SECTION 6E - ENGINE CONTROLS - CLEAR DTC'S - (Nov 25, 1996)   "CLEAR ANY DTCS FROM THE VCM ANYTIME AFTER DOING VCM REPLACEMENT/ PROGRAMMING, TURNING THE IGNITION ON WHILE THE EGR VALVE IS DISCONNECTED, OR REPLACING THE EGR VALVE."   Some diagnostic aid notes in the GM diag on P0401 for a 1995 S10 Blazer:   Diagnostic Aids Notice: In order to prevent further damage if the EGR valve shows signs of excessive heat, check the exhaust system for blockage (possibly a plugged converter) using the procedure found on the restricted exhaust system check. If the exhaust system is restricted, repair the cause; one of which might be an injector which is open due to one of the following reasons: Stuck Grounded driver circuit Check the oil for possible fuel contamination if a stuck open fuel injector is found. Poor connection or damaged harness - Inspect VCM harness connectors for the following conditions: Backed out terminal BL 18 Improper mating Broken locks Improperly formed or damaged terminal Poor terminal to wire connection Damaged harness Intermittent test - If connections and harness check OK, monitor a digital voltmeter connected between terminal BL 18 and ground while moving related connectors and wiring harness. If the failure is induced, the voltage reading will change.
