Ok just looked at gmc's trucks. Why did they keep the old taillights and chevy has the new looking ones?

I'd guess to try to keep the trucks looking different in the back too? Not really sure...

yeah, that seemed strange to me as well, but then again, you can always hook up the new ones in any of the trucks. JP Customs sells the whole kit to do it. http://www.jpcustoms.com

I think they're making the GMC's more conservative looking and the Chevy's more aggresive. You have to admit the new lights are more aggressive then the standard ones.
