Airbag And Abs Problem

Driving on dirt road, the DIC said SERVICE AIRBAGS, and ABS warning light came on. Truck gave out a loud whine and half a mile later came to a stop. And now will not turn on, when key is turned half - all dash lights come and and a non stop ding goes off, and when key is turned all the way - everything goes off - complete silence.

 

The local service station said they need the code which Chevy will not give him. We are under warrenty still.

 

Any suggestions?

 

Before hand we never had any problems, we do use it as a firewood truck for deliveries, and it has a dump on it.

may sound weird... but check your battery connections, when you're driving and the batteries are lose or crapping out, theyll light up like a christmas tree, wiggle the connections and see if it starts up, or try to jump it and see if it starts up, mine did the same thing it died while driving i replaced the battery and havnt had a problem since

If it's under warranty have the dealer tow in and repair it.
