I can not believe it is really snowing here on Christmas Day.

Where are you in the South? It's sunny and going to be close to 70 here in N. Florida (about 50 miles S. of the GA border)

I guess that's the cold front headed this way. It's supposed to drop down to the 40's here in the next couple of days. Enjoy the snow!

Suppose to Charlotte here shortly, right now Hickory has snow, It will shut down most of the side roads if it sticks more than 2". Only thing they do here is through liquid salt brine on streets and plow the main highways.

You Northern Mississippians (yankees LOL) always get snow.

We never get snow around Jackson but it was actually snowing earlier today. Not cold enough to stick yet though. But I'm working today so it's a good thing. Mississippi folks CAN NOT DRIVE if the forecast even mentions Snow.

The last time it snowed in North Florida was 21 years ago. I was born a couple days after it happened. People suck at driving in Florida when its dry, so I never hope for snow. I don't really see why everyone is always excited about it. I loved that it was shorts weather for Christmas today.

I was stuck in my cabin in Pigeon Forge an extra day. Didn't get out until Monday afternoon. It started snowing Friday night and didn't seem to stop. I had no shovel, no chains, no 4 wheel drive, nothing. I dug the truck out with a piece of plywood i found and waited for the sun to melt the ice on the roads enough to get up the hill. They stopped plowing the road 1/2 mile from the cabin. Great adventure for a guy born and raised in Florida and only moved to Tennessee 2 years ago. But, i didn't wreck the truck or anyone else... got me and the wife home safely.

We were hoping for snow on Christmas Day, but we got it the next day instead. Not to often we get to see the white stuff here in Myrtle Beach.
