Location Of Interior Electrical Grounds 07 Silvy

So I have been looking for a electrical diagram for my 2007 Silverado. I had one posted here on the Tech Wiki which has now been deleted. :) I guess I should've saved it to my hard drive, but it's gone now.. I need to know the location of the ground for one or any interior devices (radio, interior lights, dash, ect). Before I start tearing apart the dash, I would rather have a slim clue as to where to begin looking. Any info is appreciative.

any screw going in to metal will give you a ground. Try using an existing screw, if you can't find one close to where you are working then use a sheetmetal screw and you can put it into the firewall or any of the brackets under the dash.

what are you installing?

I'm not installing anything. I need to know where all the interior electrical components are grounded at. I just downloaded a FULL Silverado Electrical Manual and I'm gonna try to figure it out without tearing apart my interior.

each component is grounded at the closes possible place to get a chassis ground, there is no central spot to ground. For optimal results a ground wire is generally no longer than absolutely necessary.

I see a lot of factory grounds behind the drivers side kick panel. I have never taken apart my truck but I would start there if I had to...

I'll check it out. I've always seen grounding blocks rather than each component being grounded.thanks all. :(
