If you still have a factory "blue" oil filter get ready. Mine was a PITA to remove, a trick you might also want to try is place a black trash bag under the oil container and extend it as far as it will go towards the pass door. It will save your floor. Use good oil and an even better oil filter.

You mean the ac delco oil filter, it's good stuff just like the rest of the ac delco products I wouldn't use any thing else on my 2011 gmc Sierra 4.8 , factory ( original parts) that's as good as it gets

If you like AC Delco oil filters, but want to go a step up, try the AC Delco UPF-48 (black canister); filters to a lower micron size and doesn't seem to affect oil pressure (at the gauge, anyway). I went to the UPF line when I bought my 'Vette, and have used them on all my vehicles since (even though the 'Vette is gone). Same goes for Mobil1 (5W-30).
