The temps have turned from cold to bitterly cold in the recent days..the wind chill is about -6 right now, with that my power steering seems to be quite stiff when i first start driving the truck..i assume its because the truck sits in the cold all night and the fluid is thick..even today i let the trick sit and idle until it hit 210 on the temp guage and the wheel was still a little stiff till i drove it 30 miles to school..

1) so is their an easy trick to de-stiffing the p/s in the cold?

You can use AMSOIL's Power Steering Fluid. If you want I can get you a quote to your door. Just PM me your address.

Should be fine, other than the noise. My truck has been doing it for the past 6 years that I've owned it

with not one issue.
