6.2l Badges

I ordered a set of these for my truck just thought I'd share.

I want something to represent the Horsepower I'm packing but I'm not a fan of loud graphics. I'm hoping these will be a nice subtle little addon.

 

I liked the vortecMAX emblems, but that's for 6.0's I didn't want to misrep my 6.2 because it's not a MAX...It's a 6.2L

 

Anyhoo I'll post some pics when I get them and install.

Looks cool. I've been thinking of getting something similar, but I'd like to find a 6.2L emblem in the same font and size as the Silverado on the sides. Like you, I'm not a big fan of extra stickers, but I think a nice, subtle 6.2L badge or graphic would look very cool if done correctly. Looking forward to the pics when you get it on the truck.

I'm torn. I think I'll get them so I can see exactly how big they are then decide. Front runners are:

 

Bottom right tailgate

both doors right above the "silverado" (01-06 duramax style)

strip the "silverado on the doors (though I like it) and replace with 6.2

huh? When? I ordered these back in the fall. They have been around for some time. Got them from a corvette site.

Your emblem looks perfect, just like the GM lettering on the truck. The OP's look different. IMO they will look out of place anywhere on the truck because they aren't similar to the GM lettering.

Me too! Or we could get them anyhow as most people wouldn't know the difference anyhow.

I recieved and installed them today. Must say I'm very pleased. Subtle and unforced.
