You just cut off the stock muffler and then ran pipes out the side?

Yes, yes, wait its coming to me, yes.

BINGO, I've got it. Busting out the sawzall tomorrow lol.

No but really, I've got a brand new truck, maybe I will just cut it off and since I've got 5 years to get it inspected, might just leave it like that for 5 years and then go get a flowmaster or something.

yep, i used a hack saw and it took a long time..... an hour just to cut the damn pipe... patience ran out lol so i just got out the saw and i forgot it was stainless until i started cutting whoooops.

i paid 60 bucks to have a piece of stainless welded onto the pipe where it went into the muffler with hangers and i checked to make sure when the suspension was fully UNLOADED that it wouldn't hit. I also located it very specifically so it wouldn't melt the shackle bushing or be below the bottom of the frame.

it's not as easy as it seems to get the pipe in the right spot, and some people think its too low but it's actually right where it needs to be.

I haven't crawled under my new truck yet, but since you have maybe you can answer this question.

Could I just cut 4" in front of the muffler and then maybe weld or link on a down turn in the exhaust and leave it be for sometime. I don't want to run pipes out the side or back, just turn down.

Even in the event when I would add a muffer. I would still just turn them down.

there is a hanger about 2 inches in front of the muffler.... look at my photos in my user profile or just search, i'm not sure how to repost them.... i wouldn't just put a turn down under there it doesn't sound as good as side exit, i had it setup that way for a week and it really doesn't sound as good or the same. if thats what you want to do, you could just clamp on a turn down, thats what i did until i got the side exist welded on.

about the drone...

I love it, sounds wicked mean inside.
