How do some people have custom statments under their wrenches? Is it dependent on the number of wrenches you have, or do I have to be some kind of special member to be able to do that?

Click on "My Controls"

 

Then on the left side it should say under personal profile "edit profile information".

 

Your first option should be "custom member title"

 

If you don't have it, start posting, I'm not sure when your allowed to do it, 500 posts?
