Leveling Kits

I know that this have been covered before and there are all kinds of different views on it. I'm looking at getting a leveling kti for my truck and was wondering how the Rough county kit is. I know some like it and some hate it.

What do you guys have?

Does it change the ride?

The RC 2" is great. I don't think you'll find anyone here who "hates" it. After an alignment the ride is pretty much the same.

How about gas mileage? What kind of difference are you seeing? Would you mind measuring the front and rear fenders and see what the actual measurements are with the kit?

I will try to answer you question as simple as possible. I have an 08 Silverado CC with the RC 2" kit, it is 100% easy to install, the first side took me 40mins the second side took me 15mins. Get it aligned and your good to go. Ride is almost 99% the same as pre leveling kit. IMO it does feel different when turning at full lock, not a big deal. Gas mileage has not changed for me. You can find install videos on youtube.

Nothing Wrong with the RC. Simple to install, It doesn't change the gas mileage but the 33 inch tires that will fit certainly will.

When I did mine, the front fender raised 1 7/8 inches. I think it raised the center of the truck (at the back door) about an inch.

This is my intall video:

Not the actual chrome grill but the stuff that is behind it. Not sure what it is. Probly something to do with the a/c. You can see it in the pics. Just thought it would ad to the blacked out grill.
