Seems like there are a lot of questions on here about suspension setups, what will fit, what tire looks best, or what will my truck look like with this lift and size tires. Also, people just like seeing pictures. Doesn't matter what you have... lifted, leveled, lowered, stock... just post pictures of your ride, and what you have done to it!

Your truck would look awesome with some tows

You talking to me??? :P

I just can't decide if I like them or not. I tried photo shopping some on the truck but just can't decide.

Plus everyday I toy with the idea of selling the truck and starting over with a 2500 or a 1500 with the 6.2. Just can't pull that trigger yet

I say put some tow mirrors on, and keep the truck... With the way gas prices are going, you'll have a hard time getting a good deal. You're truck is awesome looking

Well, I guess i'll go next, nothing real fancy, I have a whole list of things i wanna do with it, just gotta be careful considering i probably wont keep it for much longer than another year or two!

Exterior:

Fire and Ice LED bar on the back-free from a family friend

oldschool amber fogs-given to me by my dad off one of his OLD old trucks

chrome grille panel

Euro style headlights/turn signal lenses with 5000k Raptor HID kit from DDMtuning

repainted wiper arms and receiver hitch-Black

245/75r16 good year wrangler authority tires

Delta Toolbox

Interior: Nothin fancy...

trailer brake controller-came with the truck

blue under dash lights

wired up a wally world 3 outlet cigarette lighter under the dash to hide the XM wires ran down the steering column, dock by my guage faces, and antenna run up the dash, sets in the windshield atop the dash.

Future Plans:

rippin the fogs off this weekend and mounting the grille guard, i got brackets being made FINALLY

backup lights

4 beam headlight relay kit from Summit

already looking into new headlight/turn signal lenses-have a set in mind that look stock and less european sports car :P

entirely new chrome grille, get rid of the one peeling paint on the bottom

thanks  for the time being, its my pride and joy haha. and i've thought about it, its definitely a possibility at this point to keep it, i bought it in North Dakota so i know it will stand the winters up there without a problem when i move up there within the next year or so. i very well may do that, and the nice thing about the older styles like the 96's they are VERY easily modded  haha

have thought about doing a lift, just a small 4 inches and takin off the steps on the side, but i kinda like the classy look they add :P haha, and since i'm losing my fogs this weekend, kinda thinkin bout takin out the tow hooks and addin fogs where the sit on the valence... what do you think? would be a pretty easy thing to do i would think :P

heres a pic of my LED bar with the reverse lights on before i repainted the receiver hitch :P and yes thats me just after i got my truck. lol

If I were you I would de badge, de mold, remove the steps, mud flaps, and bug shield. I would replace that tool box with a low pro or in bed tool box, clear the corners on your head lights, color match your door handles, 4 inch suspension lift, mickey thompson classic I's, 35 inch mud tires.

idk, not a big fan of debadging tbh, i HAVE thought about removing the molding but am on the fence, and i kinda like my bug shield too, but again, on the fence with it, i would DEFINITELY clear the corner markers on my headlights in fact the set i have lined up in my mind actually coems with the headlights, turn signal lenses AND the corner markers clear or orange and i like the clear :P lol im excited to get the grille guard on it this weekend, its been sitting in my garage since last summer  haha as for color matching the door handles, kinda thought about chrome ones at one point but never really pursued it. could be an option though

    • I agree with Tim.  As tech heavy as engines are these days, no way I’d be an early buyer of the new 6.6.  Of course, I bought my ‘26 Denali w/the 6.2 after dumping my Tundra with it’s defective 3.5 liter imploding engine disaster, so I’m a little gun-shy.  That said, my 6.2 has been rock solid.  I don’t drive it like I do my BMW Z4 M40i, but I don’t baby it either.  I got a V8 for a reason.  But I’m averaging 18 around town and 22 highway.  I have seen 24 highway as well when I wasn’t loaded up heavy.  Considering my Tundra with the twin turbo V6 only got 14.5 in town and 17 on the road, I’ll take the 6.2 all day, every day.  If I were you, I’d grab a ‘26 while you can.  Inventories are probably gonna start dropping and I’ll bet the deals will start looking sweeter as well.
    • I am curious if anyone has figured out a way to add an hard button AUX or 360 Camera switch to the center row of switches. I have a 2021 AT4, and want to split the hill decent button and add a 360 camera button so that you don't have to go into the center display and locate the camera functionality, etc...   My father's 2024 Yukon XL AT4 and it has a hard button, see below. I found this thread on the Yukons, but it seems like there may not be a part number for the 2021 sierras. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/255339-adding-hard-button-for-camera-on-2021/ Anyone else figured this out. Seems like it would need to be a custom switch!   I am getting ready to install the auto stop/start eliminator, so would be nice to knock them out at once.     Upvote1Downvote0Go to comments
    • Looks like the entire state is burning. 😬
    • Through the years it hasn't been my typical method as I tried to drop oil on an engine that was hot from having been worked, however that was not always practical and had to fire up a unit and let it warm up reasonably well and drop the oil when I had the time to do it but am referring to not only vehicles but a variety of farm equipment and highway tractors etc. However on a vehicle where one is crawling under it and the exhaust is nearby to ones body and if wanting to pull the plug without danger of being hit with boiling hot oil or attempting to remove a HOT oil filter, its sure safer and easier to not have everything smoking hot and can remove the filter right away when under the vehicle and let it all drain. Of course its not the end of the world if a bit of oil stays in the engine that might have eventually found its way out, I like to get out as much as possible but any oil changes that take place in shops would rarely be sitting around for very long at all before the plug is thrown back in and filter slapped on and oil poured in and sent out the door quick like. There would be very little time spent ( assuming they even did it ) in starting the engine with oil to fill the filter, then waiting to verify the level on the stick. A good reason to check ones oil level shortly after a shop changed the oil on a vehicle just to make sure its correct and to look under for any oil around the drain plug or filter.
